Mags and I are working on another piece of art to help save the animals from the oil slick in the Gulf. It has come to our attention that in just one week Kelly Lights' blog Ripple, http://ripplesketches.blogspot.com/ went from having 100 cards to having 600 cards from artists around the world. The blog has raised over $5,000.00 (as of 6/22). Everyone, we are making a difference keep it up! I know you are busy. My full time job is as a limo driver, and Mags is a flower/plant consultant during the day. Plus we do Maggie and Sam's Adventures website! But somehow Mags and I are finding the time to help! We are going to draw another postcard to put on the Ripple website.
Sammy
Thanks for your support and helping us fight this disaster. Kelly said that it takes 3 bottles of Dawn Dish Detergent to wash one bird. One $10 sketch card buys three bottles. Currently everyone has raised enough money to clean roughly 570 birds. Personally Sam and I would like to see these birds out flying again, so please help!
Mags
Maggie and Sam invite you into their world, to share in their adventures! These friendly felines reside in Arizona along with their human companions, Jill and Paul Gubin. Jill takes her inspiration from Maggie and Sam’s antics, to create a range of unique greeting cards and unique gifts appropriate for any occasion. With Jill’s help, their imaginary adventures become real on Maggie and Sam’s web site, for you to share with your friends and loved ones.

All About Me
- The Illustrator
- Jill illustrates greeting cards and works at an Animal Medical Hospital in Arizona. Her love for animals can be seen in every drawing she has ever done. It wasn’t until Jill and her husband Paul adopted Maggie & Sam (2 crazy cats) from the Humane Society that Jill created the Maggie & Sam Collection. All of Maggie and Sam’s personalities as well as their friends have been captured in Jill’s work. In every illustration you will see humor, and love through her characters’ eyes. Jill has been selling her cards in local Arizona Stores. However, being passionate Jill wanted to create a website that would bring people together to talk about their pets, share their stories and to interact with other pet lovers. They will be able to learn new and interesting facts about the various animals pictured on the greeting cards, read their pet’s horoscope, and send personal messages to their friends and families at any time via e-mail.
