Repel the Peccary’s

Mags and I discovered a real problem. The other night we looked out our front window and witnessed these ugly pigs (Javelinas) in our yard! They dug up Paul and Jill's' Agave. Just wait until Paul sees the huge hole that they left!! Someones going to be bacon! Seriously the neighborhood cats have been talking and apparently these Javelinas are a huge issue. They think they are at a salad bar, eating all the cacti and plants out of the yards. Well Maggie and I researched on the Internet and have some solutions for everyone. To remove the pigs from your yard put coffee grounds around the plants. Other home remedies are cinnamon, hot sauce or cayenne pepper. Another known repellent is Coyote pee. Yes I said it Coyote pee. Mags and I are willing to pee around the area but it has to be Coyote pee!

Good Luck

Sam

I love plants, save them from the pigs! Also we don't want to hurt the pigs so becareful and excercise caution.

All About Me

My photo
Jill illustrates greeting cards and works at an Animal Medical Hospital in Arizona. Her love for animals can be seen in every drawing she has ever done. It wasn’t until Jill and her husband Paul adopted Maggie & Sam (2 crazy cats) from the Humane Society that Jill created the Maggie & Sam Collection. All of Maggie and Sam’s personalities as well as their friends have been captured in Jill’s work. In every illustration you will see humor, and love through her characters’ eyes. Jill has been selling her cards in local Arizona Stores. However, being passionate Jill wanted to create a website that would bring people together to talk about their pets, share their stories and to interact with other pet lovers. They will be able to learn new and interesting facts about the various animals pictured on the greeting cards, read their pet’s horoscope, and send personal messages to their friends and families at any time via e-mail.
